This course is aimed at those both looking to enter organic farming and those who have recently entered
the sector. This course satisfies the educational requirement to enter the DAFM Organic Farming Scheme (OFS). The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill, and competence to apply organic farming principles to the production of organic produce, to meet market requirements and approved organic standards in compliance with European Union (EU) and Irish legislation.
