The aim of the program is to provide the learner with the knowledge and skill to work in a tourism-related role in a range of different sectors. Such sectors include; hotels and eco-resorts, tourist information or eco-tour guides, tourist attractions, airports, heritage centres, environmental education officers, or to progress to further or higher education or training.

Level 3 Certificate or equivalent. CERFL proficiency at B2 for those whose first language is not English.

On completion of this course, learners will have the skills and knowledge to independently and effectively carry out a range of information, administrative, and service functions in a broad range of tourism, ecotourism, and environmental-related organisations. There is also the option to progress to further education or training in such areas as tourism marketing, event management, environmental sciences, and cultural enterprises.
