Managing production on the farm, managing the farm, performing work in state and local government offices in the domain of agriculture and the rural sector, cooperation in research institutions in the field of agriculture and in the business of trading agricultural equipment and products. Breeding and use of horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and poultry, and fishing, hunting and beekeeping are also studied. Knowledge about the quality and processing of meat, milk and dairy products and about the protection of animal health.

Recognize and explain the position of agriculture as a human activity, especially the characteristics and importance of animal production in the structure of agriculture. Explain the technological and economic requirements in livestock production, production of fodder plants and grassland management. Identify the technological, health and economic requirements in the breeding of domestic animals, fishing, beekeeping and the production of products of animal origin. Argue the modern requirements of farm management and integration of animal production into European production and business standards. Analyze the technological, economic and institutional features of animal production and recognize the advantages and limitations that affect the production results. Publicly present the results of analyzes using modern information and communication technology. Propose improvements in the operations of agricultural farms, institutions and services in the domain of animal production in accordance with modern production standards. Organize work and independently manage technological processes in animal production and carry out field and laboratory work in the field of animal sciences. Recognize the problem, set research theses and participate in the creation of work in the domain of animal sciences. Manage the trade of animal products and equipment in animal husbandry and participate in classes in vocational secondary schools. Use the acquired abilities of theoretical and practical learning in the acquisition of new knowledge and insights in animal sciences (continuation of education through formal and informal forms)
