An agricultural plant production technician can work in all companies, cooperatives, trades and other companies engaged in agricultural production. In the existing constellation of economic factors in Dalmatia, the possibility of self-employment in OPG should be highlighted.

During schooling, through theoretical and practical classes, students gain knowledge about the use of machines, tools and equipment without which it is imaginable to do work in modern agriculture. Special attention is paid to education for implementing the principles of good agricultural practice and sustainable development, indispensable when choosing methods and means for plant protection. Also, students are taught the basics of entrepreneurial business and work organization, as well as the monitoring and application of occupational safety and environmental protection laws. Upon completion of education, these experts are capable of working on arable, fruit, viticultural and vegetable farms, as well as on livestock farms and in agricultural pharmacies.
