At the end of the Beekeeping program, participants acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of beekeeping. Through the theoretical part, the participants acquire knowledge about the anatomy and physiology of bees, about the biological characteristics of the bee community, about the types of hives, apiaries and beekeeping equipment, about diseases, pests, about legal regulations. Through practical classes, participants get to know beekeeping equipment, types of beehives, specifics of the bee colony, get to know the work in the apiary throughout the season, different types of bee products.
