Course provides practical identification of tree species by wood and bark, identifying wood defects and calculating their deterioration, calculating the volume of the assortment and classifying them according to the standards currently in force in Slovenia. Course provides demonstration how to work with electronic calipers and computer processing of the data obtained for further data entry into various web-based applications. Course also provides teacher's professional opinion on their readiness for the examination for the NQV wood buyer. The teacher will warn the participants about the errors (easy and harder errors and exclusion criteria) that could be decisive for the NVQ examination.
