Course provides practice identification of tree species by leaves and shoots, planting, stand preparation for natural and artificial regeneration, care of young coppice and coppice, and protection against wildlife. Course provides the teacher's expert opinion on the readiness of participants for the examination for the NPK forestry grower. The teacher will point out to each participant any mistakes that could be decisive in the NVQ examination.

 The participant learns to identify 20 tree and 5 shrub species. The participant develops skills in group work or working in front of a group that monitors and supervises his/her work (successfully copes with trepidation at work, gets used to dealing with the stress that comes with an exam).
