In accordance with Article 15 of the Pet Protection Regulations (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, 51/2009), a legal or natural person carrying out an activity of care in animal welfare hotels, pet shops and the organisation of exhibitions of competitions and other events involving pet animals must have such a number of keepers that unsucessed care is ensured on a daily basis.
