Learning outcomes
Define and explain the multiple role of soil and land and other natural resources with the aim of sustainable management in agriculture. Recognize and explain phenomena and processes, natural and anthropogenically induced changes in the agroecosystem. Differentiate and evaluate the elements of the impact of agriculture on the biosphere, pedosphere, atmosphere and hydrosphere, as well as the adaptation of the agrosphere to the state of the environment. Explain basic theoretical and practical principles in the fields of agroecology, agroclimatology, pedology, ecology of plants and domestic animals, environmental protection and agricultural production. Describe the specifics of the concept of an integrated approach in planning the use of natural resources in agriculture, including the sustainability of agro-ecosystems. Collect, process and interpret relevant data from the field. Apply a holistic approach to solving simple problems in the domain of environmental protection and agricultural production and evaluate the acceptability of individual breeding methods and operations in plant and animal production. Present information, ideas, problems and their solutions from the field of connection between agricultural production and the environment to the professional and general public. Independently manage resources on the farm. Propose a plan for sustainable land management in crop cultivation and animal production. Apply the acquired learning skills necessary for lifelong learning
