Inspects the machine, device or some part of it in detail, and determines whether it works properly and safely. An agricultural machinery mechanic equips vehicles and machines with additional equipment and accessories and partially maintains bodies, frames and takes care of corrosion protection. Performs testing of internal combustion engines, braking devices, ignition systems and exhaust gas purification devices. In doing so, he/she uses various devices, including electronic and computer equipment. When he/she finds a fault, he/she fixes it and checks again whether the device is working properly and whether it is safe to be used. Agricultural machinery mechanics who work in shops, provide information about machinery, how to use it and give advice on buying.
