The program consists of a general education and a vocational part, in which the participant acquires basic knowledge and skills for the title of Agricultural Technician-Gardener. The program is implemented in schools, school gardens, greenhouses, greenhouses, and in institutions that deal with horticultural production, construction and maintenance of public city green areas.

Work in plant nurseries for the cultivation of roses and woody plants, in greenhouses, glasshouses and in open areas for the cultivation of flowers and vegetables, in the construction and maintenance of private and public urban green spaces, in the design of small home gardens, in own companies for the production of horticultural crops and maintenance of home gardens, in schools as a teaching assistant.

The participant will develop the following competencies: he will recognize the specificity of certain technologies in horticultural production; Grow ornamental trees and shrubs, flowers and vegetables; Create and execute a home garden plan; Carry out parks and other urban greenery according to the project; Use machines, devices, tools and equipment in horticultural production and the construction and maintenance of parks and other urban green areas such as lawns, sports fields, green roads, residential complexes, recreational areas, children's playgrounds, cemeteries, street greenery, hospital and factory greenery ; Implement the principles of protection of biological diversity and preservation of natural heritage; Follow and apply legal regulations on occupational safety and environmental protection; Apply the basics of entrepreneurial business and work organization
