AgriNext Final Conferences Across Europe

At the end of the AgriNext project, final dissemination conferences were organised in all partner countries with the aim of presenting the main project results, showcasing the AgriNext digital platform and incubators, and connecting stakeholders from education, agriculture and rural entrepreneurship. The events also encouraged discussion on the future sustainability of project results and strengthened cooperation between local and international partners.

Final conferences took place in:

  • 8 May 2026 – Karlovac, Croatia
  • 12 May 2026 – Córdoba, Spain
  • 13 May 2026 – Naklo, Slovenia
  • 14 May 2026 – Thurles, Ireland

Croatia

The conference in Karlovac, hosted by Karlovac University of Applied Sciences, brought together partners and stakeholders to celebrate four years of collaboration supporting innovation, skills and entrepreneurship in multifunctional agriculture. Participants explored the key AgriNext results and the long-term role of the incubators and digital platform in supporting rural innovation across Europe.

Spain

The AgriNext Final Conference in Córdoba highlighted the importance of innovation, digitalisation and entrepreneurial skills in the development of rural areas. The event gathered educators, agricultural professionals and stakeholders to exchange experiences and discuss future cooperation opportunities in multifunctional agriculture.

Slovenia

On 13 May 2026, BC Naklo hosted the Slovenian final conference under the message that young people co-create the future of agriculture. Alongside project presentations and inspiring speakers, students from the Slovenian AgriNext incubator presented their start-up ideas and value-added products at tasting stands, demonstrating the connection between agriculture, creativity and entrepreneurship.

Ireland

The Irish final conference took place at Ballykilcavan Brewery and gathered farmers, rural entrepreneurs and educational partners from across Ireland. Discussions focused on how rural communities can actively shape and benefit from the bioeconomy through stronger cooperation, knowledge exchange and shared rural innovation initiatives.
