Project Days 2025 at BC Naklo

From April 8–11, 2025, the Biotechnical Centre Naklo (BC Naklo) hosted AgriNext Project Days, a hands-on learning initiative within the broader AgriNext project. While BC Naklo was the local organizer, the activities were part of the wider consortium effort to strengthen digital and green skills in education.

Learning by Doing: Promoting Slovenian Food

Over four days, 75 students from three study programs - Class 1 BF (Food Processing and Horticulture Technicians), Class 1 M (Grammar School), and Class 1 L (Nature Conservation Technicians) – engaged in creative, collaborative workshops on the theme of Promoting Slovenian Food.

Working in small groups, students explored how to tell stories about local food systems through short promotional films. In the process, they discovered a range of digital tools:

  • Miro for project planning,
  • ChatGPT for scriptwriting support,
  • Napkin AI for idea visualization and knowledge organization,
  • Google Forms for interactive learning,
  • Canva for visual design,
  • Clipchamp and CapCut for video editing,
  • and PowerPoint (or similar applications) for final presentations.

Filming was carried out with mobile devices, keeping the process simple and accessible.
