AgriNext: Milestones Achieved in Multifunctional Agriculture Education and Innovation

19. 3. 2024

After 18 productive months and the first midterm review period, we celebrated the successful implementation of all planned project activities. Partners engaged in lively discussions about future endeavours, contributing valuable insights to shape the path ahead.

We successfully performed a Guidance Service Model analysis and upgraded the pre-existing models, which operate in the field of Multifunctional Agriculture that responds to the rapidly changing job market demand. Based on these models we conducted a 3-day pilot training in October 2023 for councillors from each partner country in Slovenia – the training program was later adapted to online, face-to-face, and blended format and is already available on the AgriNext project website.

Each VET partner in the consortium is currently taking a proactive approach by organizing round table discussions with sector representatives, aiming to explore and discuss the options for flexibilization within the school system on a national level. These conversations are crucial for identifying and implementing innovative solutions that will enhance the adaptability and effectiveness of educational frameworks across the board.

Furthermore, the Database of existing lifelong learning opportunities in the field of Multifunctional Agriculture, presenting a compilation of training and learning opportunities, was developed and offers many results in 4 consortium countries (Slovenia, Spain, Croatia, and Ireland). This result will be further used and implemented in the AgriNext platform.

VET project participants are currently analysing good practice examples of business incubators in their area, which will be used as a basis for AgriNext business incubators, which will work specifically in the field of Multifunctional Agriculture & help participants develop business ideas.
