From November 13th to 17th, the students of the higher degree of livestock and animal health assistance at the Galileo Galilei High School in Córdoba attended the bilingual training course to promote multifunctional agriculture and livestock in Chiclana de la Frontera, Cadiz. These conferences subsidized by the European AgriNext project to promote entrepreneurship in the agricultural and livestock sector, placing special emphasis on training at all educational levels.

The course began with a presentation of the project in which all assistants had the opportunity to understand and comment on the main objectives pursued by AgriNext. The second part of the course took place at the Carlos Ponferrada natural riding center - Paradise Ponys Andy Bade, who after more than 3 years of experience in the sector offered an extraordinary theoretical and practical clinic on equine management for animal welfare in reproduction and prevention of deaths in transport.

All attendees were able to verify that both animal welfare and prevention in this sector are essential to make the agricultural and livestock world more sustainable. The last part of the course was held at Hípica La Patiña, a center specialized in equestrian tourism. In this place, students had the opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship in the agrotourism sector and its importance for the development of rural areas.

As a practical activity, they learned to design and guide an equestrian tourist route through the pine forest and Barrosa beach in Chiclana, an area located in the southwest of Spain known mainly for the combination of rural and coastal tourism.
